The best holidays start without a long drive. From Perpignan airport, the villa is 25 minutes away: a short run along the coast, and you are on the heights of Fitou, between the Corbieres hills and the Mediterranean, with the pool and the sea view already in front of you.
Twenty-five minutes, then nothing to do
Pick up a hire car at the airport, follow the coast northwards, and you are there. No connecting train, no transfer company to book, no late-night arrival stress. For a long weekend as much as for a full week, those twenty-five minutes change the whole trip: you gain a half day on arrival and another on departure.
What is waiting for you
A 130 sqm architect villa built from recycled shipping containers, on one level: four bedrooms sleeping eight (three double rooms with 140 to 160 x 200 beds, one child's room with a trundle bed), an open living space with a fitted kitchen facing the sunset, and a raised wooden terrace overlooking the Leucate lagoon and the sea.
The pool is heated all year round, so a February or an October break keeps its swims, and it is secured by a sliding terrace outside swimming hours, which matters with children.
Around the villa, in minutes
The lake, the beach and the sea are less than 10 minutes away; the long sandy beaches of Leucate and La Franqui, with one of Europe's largest kitesurf spots, 15 minutes. Narbonne is about twenty minutes, Collioure 1 hr 30, the Font-Romeu ski resort 1 hr 40 and Barcelona 2 hours by road. The Fitou AOC winemakers' cellars are right by the villa, and a tennis court is within walking distance.
Booking from abroad, made simple
The villa is let directly, with no platform commission: the price shown is the price you pay, from 360 € per night depending on the month, with a 20 % increase on Friday and Saturday nights. Payment is secured by Stripe, with a 30 % deposit at booking and the balance 30 days before arrival. No security deposit is held, only a holiday insurance certificate. Key handover is in person, and we answer questions quickly, in English. Pets are welcome.
