The pool is heated in every season. A spring weekend becomes a real summer break, autumn mornings are spent in the water, and a winter stay in the southern sun keeps its pool. This is what makes the villa enjoyable for most of the year, well beyond the month of August.
A sliding terrace that secures the pool
The basin is covered by a sliding terrace outside swimming hours. It protects the pool, keeps the water warm and, above all, secures the basin for families with children: you open it when you decide to swim, and close it when you go back inside. The terrace then regains its full surface for the table, the sun loungers and the garden furniture.
Around the pool, the living terrace brings together the barbecue, the tables and the outdoor shower: rinse off as you get out of the water and sit down to eat without going inside. And for sunbathing, the rooftop terrace on the villa's flat roof, facing the sea.
The rest of the villa lives up to it
The pool extends a 130 sqm architect villa built from recycled containers: four bedrooms, sleeping eight, an open living space with a fitted kitchen, and a view over the Leucate lagoon and the Mediterranean from the terrace. The beaches of Leucate and La Franqui are 15 minutes away, the Fitou lake less than 10 minutes, and Perpignan airport 25 minutes away.
When to come and enjoy the pool
Each season has its charm. Spring, from April to June, brings soft light and more accessible rates. Summer is the high season, ideal for long days by the water. Autumn extends the mild weather with the grape harvest in the Fitou AOC vineyards and a sea that is still warm. In winter, the heated pool makes all the difference. Rates are set by month, from 360 € per night, booked direct with no commission.
