Travelling in a group often means squeezing in. Villa Container Fitou was designed the other way round: 130 sqm for eight guests, where everyone keeps their own space and everyone gathers around the table, outside, facing the sea.
Four bedrooms, each with its own view
Three double bedrooms, with 140 to 160 x 200 beds, and a child's bedroom with a trundle bed. Each bedroom has its own view over the Corbieres hills or towards the sea. Couples have their privacy, children have their corner, and nobody sleeps in the lounge.
A living space made for sharing
The living room brings together the fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge in one open space, facing the sunset. It is the room for long dinners, lingering breakfasts and evenings that carry on outside on the raised wooden terrace, with the garden furniture and the heated pool right next to it.
Children and the pool
The pool is heated all year round and covered by a sliding terrace outside swimming hours. For a group with children, this is the reassuring detail: the pool is closed when nobody is swimming, and open when the adults are there. The Fitou lake, less than 10 minutes away, and the Sigean African Reserve, by car then on foot, round off the family days out.
Outside, the villa has two terraces, which is what lets eight people live together without getting in each other's way: the rooftop terrace, kept for sunbathing, a sun deck on the flat roof facing the sea; and the raised wooden living terrace, with the barbecue, the tables, the outdoor shower and the pool, where the group gathers for drinks and evening grilling.
Two families, a group of friends, a family gathering
Fifteen minutes from the beaches of Leucate and La Franqui, 25 minutes from Perpignan airport, the villa suits long weekends as well as full weeks. Rates are per night, by month, from 360 €: shared between eight, the price per person stays gentle. Book direct, no commission, secure Stripe payment, 30 % deposit. Pets are welcome. For a company or an association, an invoice with 10 % VAT is available.
