Leucate, La Franqui, the lake: everything minutes away
The Fitou lake, the beach and the sea are less than 10 minutes away. The long, windy sandy beaches of Leucate and La Franqui are 15 minutes away: perfect for walking and swimming, and one of Europe's largest kitesurf spots. The sheltered La Palme lagoon lends itself to paddleboarding, windsurfing and flamingo watching. Port-Barcares and its water sports bases complete the picture for jet ski and sailing, and it is also where you go out at night: bars, nightclubs and the resort's summer events. At the end of the cliff, the Cap Leucate lighthouse offers the viewpoint over the sea, the lagoon and the Pyrenees, and all around, plenty of restaurants, from the oyster huts on the lagoon to the terraces of La Franqui. Perpignan airport is 25 minutes away.
